The first week of “Christmas on the floor” at the store was Oct. 6-11, and sales were just over $40,000, with a record-breaking first day over $10,000 sold in 6 hours. What do the volunteers and managers say to those incredible numbers? ALL GLORY TO GOD! Each year we seem to attract more interest, more customers, more donations. With your help, we can also increase our number of volunteers!

Special shout out to the 13 moms from Crown of Life Christian Academy in Fort Atkinson who came together for a "Moms Night Out sorting event" at Twice is Nice on a recent Monday from 4-7. Thank you to LL alum Jen Ertman for organizing. What a wonderful way to be good stewards and give back to the store that gives us so much! Shop: While we’ve sold a LOT of Christmas items, never fear—there’s LOTS more waiting to go out when shelves begin to empty. Plus, our winter clothing inventory is second-to-none, with snow gear and coats as well as sweaters and mittens. We’re easy-to-find and open Mon-Sat from 10 AM-4 PM: just a minute east on the Hwy 18 exit off the 26 bypass at 907 W. Racine St., next to the Jefferson Piggly Wiggly. (We are closed Thanksgiving Day.) Donate: Another reminder that we appreciate your “saleable” donations (i.e., clean and in good working order). We accept items in the back of the building from 10-3:30 PM any day we’re open. See the FAQs page at twiceisnice.shop for items we cannot accept.  Perhaps you've seen the plastic gift cards that we've been selling at the register for a while now (plastic replaced paper early in 2025, pictured above), but what do you do when you'd like to give someone a Twice is Nice store gift card but you can't make it to the store? Great news! Now we also offer digital gift cards! TiN uses the same safe and secure vendor that handles all our register transactions to make our gift cards available. Gift cards, whether plastic or electronic, can be used for any purchase at Twice is Nice; tax applies when the card is used to purchase items in store, not when the gift card is purchased. A great gift idea for your people who love to thrift at the best store around!
You might be wondering how customers use an electronic gift card to pay at the register. They either print out the email they receive when they receive the notification of the gift card, or they can simply have the screen with the gift card bar code on their smartphone when they check out. The clerk will use the scanner at the register to access the dollar amount on the gift card. |
