Twice is Nice Resale News, November 2025

The first week of “Christmas on the floor” at the store was Oct. 6-11, and sales were just over $40,000, with a record-breaking first day over $10,000 sold in 6 hours. What do the volunteers and managers say to those incredible numbers? ALL GLORY TO GOD! Each year we seem to attract more interest, more customers, more donations. With your help, we can also increase our number of volunteers!

Volunteer: Find out how easy and fun it is to help. We are eager to host you in a “no-pressure” visit to explore the store, meet some volunteers and learn about opportunities for you to have fun and feel productive making a vital difference for Lakeside Lutheran. Come with a friend! Call 920-674-6868 and ask for a manager. There’s so much to do in these busy shopping weeks in November, from bagging to restocking to receiving donations. Special shout out to the 13 moms from Crown of Life Christian Academy in Fort Atkinson who came together for a "Moms Night Out sorting event" at Twice is Nice on a recent Monday from 4-7. Thank you to LL alum Jen Ertman for organizing. What a wonderful way to be good stewards and give back to the store that gives us so much!

Shop: While we’ve sold a LOT of Christmas items, never fear—there’s LOTS more waiting to go out when shelves begin to empty. Plus, our winter clothing inventory is second-to-none, with snow gear and coats as well as sweaters and mittens. We’re easy-to-find and open Mon-Sat from 10 AM-4 PM: just a minute east on the Hwy 18 exit off the 26 bypass at 907 W. Racine St., next to the Jefferson Piggly Wiggly. (We are closed Thanksgiving Day.)

Donate: Another reminder that we appreciate your “saleable” donations (i.e., clean and in good working order).  We accept items in the back of the building from 10-3:30 PM any day we’re open. See the FAQs page at twiceisnice.shop for items we cannot accept.
