The first week of “Christmas on the floor” at the store was Oct. 6-11, and sales were just over $40,000, with a record-breaking first day over $10,000 sold in 6 hours. What do the volunteers and managers say to those incredible numbers? ALL GLORY TO GOD! Each year we seem to attract more interest, more customers, more donations. With your help, we can also increase our number of volunteers!

Perhaps you've seen the plastic gift cards that we've been selling at the register for a while now (plastic replaced paper early in 2025, pictured above), but what do you do when you'd like to give someone a Twice is Nice store gift card but you can't make it to the store? Great news! Now we also offer digital gift cards! TiN uses the same safe and secure vendor that handles all our register transactions to make our gift cards available. Gift cards, whether plastic or electronic, can be used for any purchase at Twice is Nice; tax applies when the card is used to purchase items in store, not when the gift card is purchased. You might be wondering how customers use an electronic gift card to pay at the register. They either print out the email they receive when they receive the notification of the gift card, or they can simply have the screen with the gift card bar code on their smartphone when they check out. The clerk will use the scanner at the register to access the dollar amount on the gift card. We know some of you are ready and waiting for our annual Christmas WOW, when all things Christmas will be on the sales floor Monday, October 6, 2025, at 10 am! Another year of God’s grace! With just shy of $1.147 million in register sales in the 12 months of 2024, this 8.6% growth over our million-dollar year last year is all to God’s glory! We can’t thank God enough for all the volunteers, all the shoppers and all those who think of us when purging closets and basements! Your overwhelming generosity allowed us to be extra generous to Lakeside Lutheran as we gave more than $950,000 to our teen mission in 2024 (including a special $250K toward the beautiful building addition). Shop Keep visiting us and finding those fantastic bargains. We’re open 10-4 Monday through Saturday, and close only for major holidays and when Lakeside closes because of severe weather. We continue to accept donations at the back door from 10-3:30 any day we are open. We’re at 907 W. Racine St in Jefferson, just a minute east from the Hwy 18 exit off the Hwy 26 bypass. Volunteer: You are warmly invited to drop in anytime during store hours and ask for a tour to learn more about how you can help!
