BIG BIG News! Our Board of Directors, aka Good Stewards, Inc., is thrilled to announce the hiring of a full-time store manager for Twice is Nice Resale. When a place sells just shy of a million dollars in a calendar year, many can imagine some of the needs that even our dauntless and faithful volunteers cannot effectively manage. Ms. Megan Uttech (St. Mark, Watertown), an experienced retail professional who has also volunteered for over a year at TiN, accepted our offer and began her duties June 5. Please say hi when you see her at the store, and look forward to seeing her in area congregations, spreading the happiness that comes from working with all the volunteers who are still so greatly needed (see below). We’re easy-to-find: just a minute east on the Hwy 18 exit off the 26 bypass at 907 W. Racine St., next to the Piggly Wiggly. Call 920-674-6868 with questions. Open every day except Sunday and holidays from 10-4. Volunteer: Can you sort clothing by category and size? Yes, you can, and we need you to help work through a huge backlog at the store. Call 920-674-6868 to set up a time that's convenient for you and a friend! Our backdoor vols also report that Saturday help receiving donations is scarce for summer weeks. They ask for family duos, friend partnerships or individuals to use the sign-up at bit.ly/3gXi3Ei or scan the QR code to volunteer for one or more 3-hour Saturday shifts (10–1 or 1–4 pm) through September. Please consider this vital, active role that benefits not only Lakeside students but all the surrounding communities with amazing bargains and a great place to shop.  Did you know? Donate: Looking to clean out this summer? Twice is Nice is pleased to accept your donations of resalable items. Need the list of items we cannot accept? Look for the sign and ring the doorbell at the back of the building from 10-3:30 PM Mon-Sat. Donation receipts are available. Shop: Did you know that in addition to fabulous everyday prices, TiN runs 50% off sales at the end of every month? For example, all rosy-pink-tagged items are 50% off from June 24-30.
